Britney Dennison is the Research Advisor at the UBC School of Journalism. She is also a former fellow in the award-winning International Reporting Program where she travelled to Beijing to report on China’s environmental movement.
Britney is a graduate of the Master of Journalism program at UBC’s Graduate School of Journalism. She recently completed three long-form feature stories about Canadian soldiers suffering from PTSD; her work was funded by the Joseph Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship. She specializes in mental health reporting and international journalism. Over the last two years she has worked in Seoul, South Korea as an editor for Beyond, Korean Air’s in-flight magazine. She reported for The Thunderbird, developed a social media strategy for CBC Music and she interned at Groove Korea, South Korea’s most-read English-language publication.
